AbstractThe present disclosure relates to isolation and characterization of PjGST gene from Prosopis juliflora and a method for producing abiotic stress tolerant transgenic plant, more specifically salt and/or drought stress tolerant plant by expression of the gene in rice, tobacco and other plant species. The present disclosure also provides transformed plant, plant cells, plant tissue, plant part, seed, or progeny thereof with enhanced expression of PjGST gene to confer salt and/or drought stress tolerance.Other References
