Preferably, the processor determines the appropriate placard by executing a placard selection program that comprises a plurality of placard selection rules, wherein the placard selection rules define the conditions under which a placard is to be used. Further, the placard selection rules preferably comply with government regulations relating to the shipment and/or storage of hazardous materials.
