Abstract

An aqueous dispersion composition to be applied to porous construction and building materials, which is of the aqueous one-component type, hence simple and easy to apply, and at the same time has both decorative and sufficient waterproofing properties is provided, as well as a coated article obtained by using the same. The aqueous dispersion composition of the present invention is characterized by containing (1) a repellent, (2) an organosilicon compound of the general formula (I) ##STR1##wherein R1n represents a saturated alkyl group containing 1 to 18 carbon atoms and, when nn is 2 or more, the R1n groups may be the same or different; R2n represents a saturated alkyl group containing 1 to 5 carbon atoms and, when nn is 2 or more, the R2n groups may be the same or different; and nn represents an integer of 1 to 9, and (3) a fluorine-containing resin.
