Abstract

A sheet receiving/stacking device, which has a sheet stacking portion for stacking sheets, a sheet conveying portion for conveying sheets to the sheet stacking portion, and a retractable sheet guiding portion for catching the bottom surface of a sheet and then guiding the sheet to the sheet stacking portion. The sheet guiding portion is moveable between a guide position and a retracted position.
