Abstract

A trocar including a trocar tube and a trocar needle inserted into the trocar needle. The trocar tube has a tubular portion and a grip attached to the rear end of the tubular portion. The front end of the trocar tube is smaller in diameter than the rear end. The front end portion of the trocar tube can be expanded by inserting an expanding device of an inside diameter suited to the outside diameter of an operative device inserted. The trocar needle has a shaft a piercing end provided at the front side of the shaft, and a grip attached to the rear end of the shaft. The shaft becomes gradually smaller in diameter toward the front end.
