When an abnormal current occurs, ON/OFF of the first semiconductor switch is controlled so as to generate a vibration current. The first semiconductor switch is shut off by this vibration current. A voltage between drain and source of the first semiconductor switch is compared with a voltage between drain and source of a second semiconductor switch by means of a comparator.
