The assembly is made by mounting two splicing connectors back-to-back with a specially designed bracket (e.g., a two-piece bracket). The assembly is mounted within the base of the enclosure. After terminating one or more wires at splicing contacts on one side of the assembly, the assembly can be removed from the base, rotated, and remounted within the base to expose splicing contacts on another side of the assembly in order to terminate additional wires from the cable. The present invention provides an efficient scheme for mounting splicing connectors within the limited volume provided within a building entrance protector.Field of SearchDirectly attached to panel by elongated fastener in tension (e.g., rivet, bolt or screw)Insulating body having plural mutually insulated terminals or contacts (e.g., terminal block) Duplicate insulating blocks or boards interconnected by frangible or severable part TELEPHONE SWITCHBOARD PROTECTOR Plural contacts, each formed by slot between pair of fingers Including three or more contacts adapted to be selectively interconnected Interfitting with channel or double rail Supporting plural, independent coupling parts With supporting means Bus bars | |
