Abstract

Novel fillers comprising combeite glass-ceramic are provided, along with filled polymerizable resin composites. Further provided are methods for making the combeite crystallite-containing novel fillers for use in hardenable, biocompatible bone restorations. Hard, shaped bodies or orthopaedic, dental and other uses are also provided.
