The colored tattoo ink is brushed over the existing tattoo to effect a concealing of the tattoo without the necessity of laser surgery or other radical skin damaging activities. The tattoo ink may also be injected into the tattoo to provide a more permanent concealment. A kit for performing the method of concealment includes a skin color chart for assisting in color selection, and containers having supplies of tattooing ink and coloring pigments.
