Each jaw has a jaw face formed on one side and threads formed on the opposite side. Each jaw face includes a first ridge substantially parallel to the chuck axis. The first ridge is offset from, and substantially parallel to, a plane including the jaw axis and the chuck axis. A second ridge is substantially parallel to the first ridge but offset from the plane opposite the first ridge.
