According to the present invention, a rectangular cell can be fabricated which can attain an energy density equivalent to that of spirally wound cylindrical cell, and supply the flow of a large current, with the dead space of cell storage space reduced to the utmost. Further, since the integration can be effected even with a single cell, a sheet-type or rectangular cell having a higher cell voltage can be made. Also, the manufacturing process of cells can be simplified. |
