AbstractA portable wall component is disclosed. The wall component comprises a pair of vertical posts. Each post has an upper component and a lower component with a hollow aperture extending therethrough. Each post also has a downwardly extending smaller cylindrical section at the bottom of the upper component and a complimentary cylindrical recess at the top of the lower post for receiving the smaller cylindrical section. An elastic band is located within each aperture extending along the length thereon and slightly beyond. A ring at the upper end of each upper component is coupled to the upper end of its associated band. A base component at the lower end of each lower component is coupled to the lower end of its associated band. A flexible sheet is provided with parallel upper and lower horizontal edges and parallel vertical end edges therebetween coupled to the posts. The flexible sheet has half-moon wind flaps cut therein and openings at the regions where the upper and lower components join. | InventorApplicationNo. 514684 filed on 08/14/1995US Classes:160/135, Portable52/587.1, Protruding tying means (hook or eyebolt) embedded in unit at other end52/645, Components adjustably or collapsibly connected135/127, Hollow rod section (e.g., for internal cord means)135/139, Telescoping and foldable135/900, WORKER OR SPECTATOR SHELTER160/237, WITH FABRIC HAVING DIVERSE AREAS160/351, PORTABLE160/377, Collapsible or knockdown256/24, PANEL256/45FabricsField of Search160/135, Portable160/351, PORTABLE160/377, Collapsible or knockdown160/63, With fabric having diverse areas160/237, WITH FABRIC HAVING DIVERSE AREAS52/239, Cubicle type; i.e., spaced from floor or ceiling52/148, Flexible guy type52/146, VERTICAL STRUCTURE WITH BRACE, OR GUY, EXTENDING DIAGONALLY TO A BASE52/645, Components adjustably or collapsibly connected52/646, Three-dimensional space-defining52/222, TENSIONED OR FLEXED SHEET FACING52/587.1, Protruding tying means (hook or eyebolt) embedded in unit at other end135/139, Telescoping and foldable135/140, Having adjustable locking means135/127, Hollow rod section (e.g., for internal cord means)135/900, WORKER OR SPECTATOR SHELTER256/13.1, HIGHWAY GUARD256/24, PANEL256/26, Hinged256/45FabricsExaminersPrimary: Johnson, Brian L.Assistant: Lev, Bruce A.
