It does not account for terminal disclaimers, term adjustments, failure to pay maintenance fees, or other factors which might affect the term of a patent.AbstractPharmaceutical compositions are described for preventing neurotoxicity, crising as active ingredient the stereospecific (+) enantiomer, having (3S,4S) configuration of Ɗ6 tetrahydrocannabinol type compounds. The compositions are particularly effective in alleviating and even preventing neurotoxicity due to acute injuries to the central nervous system, including mechanical trauma, compromised or reduced blood supply as may occur in cardiac arrest or stroke, or poisonings. They are also effective in the treatment of certain chronic degenerative diseases characterized by gradual neuronal loss.Other References
