This barrette has a pair of elongated members which are coupled to one another for movement between a closed operative condition where the elongated members are juxtaposed and define an opening therebetween for releasably capturing strands of hair, and an open condition where the elongated members are at least partially separated from one another. One of the elongated members has a plurality of separating members that extend toward the other elongated member when in a closed operative condition. These separating members are operable for separating the strands of hair captured between the two elongated members. | |
