The outputs from the transducers are provided to a MIDI interface that transmits standard musical instrument digital interface data to a sound reproduction device. The identity of the transducer provides the pitch information for the MIDI interface and the velocity is calculated from the time rate of change of the output voltage from the piezoelectric transducers.An improved transducer having superior cross talk suppression capabilities is also disclosed. | |
