Abstract

The invention relates to crosslinked carboxylic copolymers comprising an unsaturated carboxylic acid; a comonomer containing a polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated group, a crosslinking monomer selected from the group consisting of triallylisocyanurate, triallyl trimellitate, and gIyoxal bis(diallyl acetal) and an ethoxylated glyceride compound. The copolymer provides superior feel and appearance to a large variety of personal care and pharmaceutical products including cosmetics, creams, lotions and lipsticks.
