AbstractA gutter assembly (10) for a roof including a gutter (26), a plurality of spaced hangers (28), and a leaf screen (32) over the gutter (26). Lag bolts (78) are mounted at an angle to the horizontal through aligned openings (76) in the hangers (28) and extend through the fascia board (20) into a rafter (16) or a joist (18). An embodiment shown in FIG. 4 has a removable strip (27A) for fitting on an existing gutter and having a slot (46A) to receive a leaf screen (32A).
