If the wiper arm is moved by wind force during operation at high vehicle velocity, this motion is compensated for by adjusting the oscillation sweep of the arm in such a manner that the wiper arm will reverse direction at its normal upper reversal point. The wiper arm is thus prevented from striking the vehicle pillar, without reducing visibility through the windshield.Field of SearchSweep varying or regulating meansWith parking means Electrical Cleaning element moved from surface Operating connection for plural oscillating cleaning elements With means to oscillate arm Cleaning element moved relative to arm when arm moves Crank, pitman, and lever Multiple levers Mangle connections Adjustable Variable ALTERNATING-MOTION DRIVEN DEVICE WITH MEANS DURING OPERATION TO ADJUST STROKE Adjustable Changing the extent of eccentricity Rotary to alternating rotary Crank, pitman, and lever | |
