A front fork pivot housing is attached to a reduced thickness, core portion of the frontal part and a seat post housing, having a forked base, is secured to the connecting part. The core portion and the front fork pivot housing have complementary mating surfaces to enhance the structural integrity of the assembly. In a similar fashion, the connecting part includes a cut-out portion for receiving the forked base. The frame arrangement finds particular application in racing cycles and can be readily adapted for use with riders of varying sizes by utilizing front fork pivot and seat post housings of differing configurations. | |
