Abstract

The invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a mixture of(a) betaine,(b) ATP or an ATP generating system,(c) a magnesium salt, and(d) a potassium salt,in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle for topical administration and to a method for counteracting aging of the skin in a living human which utilizes the new composition.
