AbstractA floating decoy has a buoyant body and an anchor weight connected to the body by a cord. When deployed, the anchor weight holds the decoy in place on a body of water. A collapsible coiled cord is used to hold the anchor weight to the body. The cord has a normal, untensioned orientation providing a minimum cord length which is sufficiently short such that the cord does not have to be wound around the decoy body, or any portion thereof, when the weight is taken up.Other References
