A cartridge for containing the paste is attachable to the open bottom. A hollow pump piston is disposed in the hollow stem and is slidable between an open and closed position. A button extends through the stem and engages with the pump piston such that when the button is pressed, the pump piston simultaneously moves to the open position and dispenses paste and when the button is released, the pump piece simultaneously moves to the closed position and seals the toothpaste inside the toothbrush. | |
