The forms also provide transversely spaced holes through which smooth rods or rebar may be inserted to firmly hold the form in a vertical manner and yet allow the concrete slabs to expand and contract. The plastic material is also designed to expand and contract at substantially the same expansion coefficient as cured concrete, thus minimizing the working of the key-joint. | |
