AbstractIn a method for the generation of control signals in a push button box and transmission of the signals for the control of a machine, signals representing the position of a push button element are transferred by a non-contacting mode from the push button element to a signal generating unit, which is adapted to produce control signals proportional to the position of the push button element. A push button box for carrying out the method comprises at least one push button element, a signal generating unit adapted to receive the signals representing the position of the push button element by non-contacting mode, and further adapted to generate control signals proportional to the position of each of the push button elements, and a partition between each push button element and the signal generating unit. | InventorsAssigneeApplicationNo. 454996 filed on 12/22/1989US Classes:341/176, Transmitter for remote control signal200/557, Actuator biasing mechanism212/285, Remote control or at dual control positions335/207, Plural magnets340/685CranesField of Search341/176, Transmitter for remote control signal340/685, Cranes340/533, Wired340/534, Coded message340/551, Disturbance of magnetic field200/404, Magnetic snap200/553, Rocking actuator (e.g., rocker, lever)200/557, Actuator biasing mechanism455/70, Receiver control signal originates at message transmitter335/205, PERMANENT MAGNET-ACTUATED SWITCHES335/206, Plural switches335/207, Plural magnets74/471XYControl moves in two planesExaminersPrimary: Swann, III, Glen R.Assistant: Mullen, Thomas J.
