AbstractA rotary machine having a machine body and a cover covering an opening of the body. The cover is fixed to the body by an improved vibration-absorbent structure. A peripheral edge of the cover which is adjacent to the body has plate-spring-shaped mounting brackets whose distal ends project from the edge. The end of the machine body which is adjacent to the cover has mounting portions that are grooves or holes. The bracket distal ends are inserted into the mounting portions through rubber vibration insulating members. With the structure, the cover is assembled at improved efficiency and is restrained from vibration. | InventorsAssigneeApplicationNo. 534606 filed on 06/06/1990US Classes:210/89, With time control24/287, FREIGHT CONTAINER TO FREIGHT CONTAINER FASTENER181/202, Electical type devices (e.g., transformers, motors, etc.)181/207, Mechanical vibration attenuator310/51, Vibration or noise suppression310/91SupportsField of Search24/287, FREIGHT CONTAINER TO FREIGHT CONTAINER FASTENER29/451, Confining elastic part in socket29/525, By driven force fit29/596, Dynamoelectric machine248/634, Nonmetallic resilient element248/635, Including rigid coaxial pin or bushing310/42, With assembling, metal casting or machining feature310/51, Vibration or noise suppression310/71, Connectors, terminals or lead-ins310/89, Housings, windows or covers310/90, Bearing or air-gap adjustment or bearing lubrication310/91SupportsExaminersPrimary: Stephan, Steven L.Assistant: Rebsch, D.
