The products so produced from C20 + olefins exhibit favorable lubricant qualities of viscosity index and low pour points. The discovery is particularly applicable to the acylation of oligomers produced from lower alkenes such as propylene by oligomerization using a ZSM-5 catalyst which has been surface deactivated. |
