Quadrature mirror filters with staggered-phase subsampling
Patent 4815023 Issued on March 21, 1989. Estimated Expiration Date: May 4, 2007. Estimated Expiration Date is calculated based on simple USPTO term provisions. It does not account for terminal disclaimers, term adjustments, failure to pay maintenance fees, or other factors which might affect the term of a patent.
By staggering the phases of the decimations of the subbands in a quadrature mirror filter bank odd-tap kernels may be usefully employed.
