Abstract

Stabilizer mixtures for stabilizing plastics comprising one part by weight of a chroman derivative (I) of the general formula ##STR1## where R= ##STR2## where Z=C7 -C30 -alkyl, --CH2 CH2 --S--[C1 -C30 -alkyl] or ##STR3## and from 5 to 14 parts by weight of an organic phosphite of the general formula (II) ##STR4## where R1, R2 and R3 are identical of different alkyl and/or aryl or of an organic phosphonite of the formula (III) ##STR5## where +is C(CH3)3, a mixing ratio (a):(b) of from 1:6 to 1:10 being preferred.
