Abstract

Novel organic-platinum compounds selected from those of the formulae: ##STR1## wherein L and L' are selected from the group consisting of halide, nitrate, sulfate and a monobasic carboxylate such as acetate or hydroxy acetate or L and L' taken together are a dibasic carboxylate selected from the group consisting of ##STR2## oxalic acid, methylmalonic acid, succinic acid and tartronic acid, or L and L' taken together are a tribasic carboxylate selected from the group consisting of ##STR3## taken together is ascorbic acid and X is selected from the group consisting of halogen and hydroxy.
