A compressible resilient sealed air filled container is disposed in the doll's body and has resilient flexible tubes sealed at their free ends and extending into the doll's arms. Upon the container being compressed under manual pressure applied over the back of the doll, air is pressured into the tubes causing the arms to caressingly move over the sides of the child.
