The metal layers are of aluminum or aluminum alloy. An aluminum containing solder layer is disposed on inner surfaces of the metal layers. The fibers are silicone-carbide, boron or silicon-carbide coated boron and located between the solder layers. These layers are heated under pressure to a temperature above the melting point of the solder and below the melting point of the metal layer.Other References
