AbstractDisclosed is a mixture of terephthalic acid ester polyols for use in the preparation of rigid polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foams. The polyols are prepared by reacting scrap polyethylene terephthalate, dimethyl terephthalate process residue and an excess of a mixture of glycols.
