AbstractA Begg bracket for controlling the tipping and/or uprighting movements of a tooth on which the bracket is mounted which includes mesial and/or distal archwire stops at the mesial and/or distal sides of the archwire slot to limit the mesial and/or distal tipping and/or uprighting of a tooth to predetermined amounts where mesial or distal tipping force is applied to the crown of the tooth by archwires and/or elastic auxiliaries to principally move the crown, and mesial or distal uprighting forces are applied to a tooth to principally move the root of the tooth.Other References
