The system electronics generate left channel and right channel signals to produce complex aural stimuli. The system allows the testor to adjust and monitor the phase of the two aural stimuli, one injected into each ear of the test subject, until subject perceives the source of the sound. The system provides a digital readout of the signal phase, yielding a quantitative measure of the differential processing time of a subject's auditory system and brain side dominance. | |
