The armature has an axial play which is so large that, when the relay is energized, it occupies a first axial position against the force of a spring. The contacts are then pressed one against the other. When the relay is deenergized, the armature is moved to a second axial position by the spring. The contacts are clear of each other in this second axial position. The switching arm is formed by a strip of fibre-glass reinforced epoxy resin, the smallest dimension of which extends perpendicularly to the movement direction of the movable contact.Field of SearchThree or more stagesFilament, electric heater, or resistance in shunt with the discharge electrodes of a discharge device load Electric generator or piezoelectric device Discharge device and transformer Asymmetrical discharge device load Discharge device loads Asymmetrical discharge device loads Inverse parallel connected asymmetric load devices Discharge device or rectifier in the auxiliary starting electrode circuit Periodic switch in the primary circuit of the supply transformer Plural transformers in the supply circuit Auxiliary starting electrode-type discharge device load Transformer or auxiliary winding in the auxiliary electrode circuit Rectifier and/or discharge device in the control circuit Transformer in the supply circuit | |
