The external devices supply a start signal, a magnification specifying signal, an origin position signal and a clock signal to the microcomputer. In response to the signals from the external devices, the microcomputer advances through predetermined programming steps to apply an acceleration/deceleration signal, a forward/reverse rotation signal and a gating signal to the external devices to cause a pulse motor therein to move the zoom lens assembly to a selected magnification position. | |
