Abstract

Novel diphenylpropylamino-pyridine derivatives of general formula: ##STR1## are described and the spasmolytic, miorelaxing and local in vitro and in vivo anesthetic properties of some of them are given on the basis of experimental data as resulting from tests carried out on animals and isolated organs. The synthetized and tested compounds, which are endowed with a low toxicity, reduce the spontaneous motility and the drug-induced contractions, without anticholinergic side-effects at a central level.
