AbstractA generally flat ram air parachute having a central recess with a high lower skin angle. The major suspension lines along the leading edge portion increase in length outwardly to either side of the center of the leading edge. The angle of the lower skin at the center portion of the canopy is greater than at the sides. The parachute is a single inflated cell with an improved interior support structure joining the upper and lower fabric skins.
