AbstractA wireless transmitting and receiving system includes an ear microphone of the vibration pick-up type for picking up bone-conducted voice signals through an external auditory ear canal wall of a wearer. A portable case is disposed adjacent the wearer's ear and a wireless device is attached adjacent the wearer but spaced from the portable case. A transmitter of a transmitting circuit for transmitting the output signals of the ear microphone is housed in the portable case. A receiver of a receiving circuit is housed in the wireless device and receives signals from outside the system. The transmitting and receiving circuits provide a wireless connection between the portable case and the wireless device permitting two-way communication through one ear of the wearer. | InventorsAssigneeApplicationNo. 06/146675 filed on 05/05/1980US Classes:455/11.1, Portable or mobile repeater128/201.19, Means for transmitting, or facilitating, voice communication from face mask, hood, or helmet381/151, Body contact wave transfer (e.g., bone conduction earphone, larynx microphone)381/315, Remote control, wireless, or alarm381/326, Non-air-conducted sound delivery455/100, Body attached or connected455/351, Transportable455/41.1Near field (i.e., inductive or capacitive coupling)Field of Search455/7, CARRIER WAVE REPEATER OR RELAY SYSTEM (I.E., RETRANSMISSION OF SAME INFORMATION)455/100Body attached or connectedExaminersPrimary: Ng, Jin F.Attorney, Agent or FirmUS Patent References2535063, 3258533, 3819860, 3868572, 3869584, 4150262Piezoelectric bone conductive in ear voice sounds transmitting and receiving apparatusIssued on: 04/17/1979 Inventor: Ono International ClassesH04B 7/14 (20060101)H04B 1/38 (20060101) H04B 5/00 (20060101) H04R 1/46 (20060101) H04R 1/00 (20060101) H04R 1/08 (20060101) H04R 1/10 (20060101) H04R 17/02 (20060101) Foreign Application Priority Data1979-05-04 JP |
