Abstract2,2-Dimethyl-3-(2'-perfluoroalkyl-2'-perhaloalkyl-vinyl)-cyclopropane of the formula ##STR1## in which R is --COOR2, --COOH, --CO--Halogen, --CN or --CO--CH3,R1 is fluorine or CF3,R3 is fluorine, chlorine, bromine or R1 CF2 --, andR2 is the radical of an alcoholwhich possess arthropodicidal properties. These compounds can be produced by adding a compound of the formula ##STR2## to an olefin of the formula ##STR3## to produce a compound of the formula ##STR4## and dehydrohalogenating said compound. This compound may be hydrolyzed, saponified or esterified, depending upon the particular derivative desired.
