AbstractA battery deterioration indicator has a plurality of indication regions indicating a battery life when a battery voltage falls to a voltage corresponding to a predetermined different voltage level. The indicator is capable of detecting the drop of the battery voltage which shows the battery deterioration and indicating in turn the deteriorating degrees of the battery in the order of from a smaller degree of deterioration to a larger. Accordingly, users may know the battery deterioration by seeing signs indicated on the indicator long enough before the battery life runs out to secure a replacement and at the same time may know how long the remaining battery life will last. | InventorsAssigneeApplicationNo. 05/891741 filed on 03/30/1978US Classes:345/38, Liquid crystal display segments340/636.15, By voltage340/636.19, Battery deterioration detection340/691.3Degree or urgencyExaminersPrimary: Curtis, Marshall M.Attorney, Agent or FirmUS Patent References3898790, 4010456, Low battery voltage indicator for a portable digital electronic instrumentIssued on: 03/01/1977 Inventor: Erni4020414, Plural comparator indicator of battery voltage Issued on: 04/26/1977 Inventor: Paredes4024415, Detecting device for detecting battery outlet voltage Issued on: 05/17/1977 Inventor: Matsuura4037399, Electronic timepiece battery potential detecting circuitry Issued on: 07/26/1977 Inventor: Chihara4052717, Battery condition monitoring method and apparatus Issued on: 10/04/1977 Inventor: Arnold , et al.4074515Electronic timepiece with battery life display Issued on: 02/21/1978 Inventor: Asano International ClassG06F 1/28 (20060101)Foreign Application Priority Data1977-03-30 JP |
