AbstractA process of removing soil and/or stains from fabrics by immersing the fabrics in a peroxygen bleach bath containing as a peroxygen activator an N-acyl-cyano cyclic amine selected from the class consisting of ##STR1## wherein R is a hydrocarbon radical selected from the group consisting of aliphatic of 1 to 18 carbon atoms and aromatic of the benzene and naphthalene series and X is selected from the class consisting of --C(O)-- and --S(O2)--, it being provided that the cyclic amine may contain a non-interfering substituent.Also described are dry blend compositions containing the activator and peroxygen.
