The receiving bin includes first and second sheet supporting bin side wall members for supporting sheets therein which are pivotally mounted for their upper ends along the path of a sheet transport. When the supporting members are in a first orientation sheets in the bin are supported by the first member, and in a second and different orientation sheets in the bin are supported by the second member. The apparatus is particularly useful as an output bin or as a multibin collator. Automatically pivoting the bin or bins from one orientation to the other provides proper collation for simplexed or duplexed copies respectively. | |
