A wire clamp includes an elongated base provided at an end thereof with a projecting polygonal shank which slideably engages the socket and grooves to permit the selective angular adjustment of and the angular locking of the wire clamp to the collar. A locking and fastening screw engages a bore coaxially formed in the shank and the tapped bore in the socket base.
