A rectangular cover strip is sealed along its border portions to the inside of the top wall and adjacent side wall outside of the border portions of the removable rectangular part, and is also sealed to the removable rectangular part within its border portions at two spaced apart areas, which, when removed with the rectangular part, establish a pour opening having one edge coincident with an edge line formed between the top and side walls, and a vent opening. The cover strip is also provided with a folded portion projecting outwardly from this edge which forms a ledge over which the liquid goods within the container can flow so as to form a uniform and well defined jet. | |
