AbstractIsoindoline pigment of the formula ##STR1## wherein R denotes a heterocyclic aromatic radical, X1 -X4 denote hydrogen or halogen atoms or one or two of the radicals X1 -X4 denote nitro, alkyl, alkoxy or phenoxy groups and the others denote hydrogen atoms which are useful for pigmenting high molecular organic material.
