Abstract

A system for selectively transmitting television images includes a plurality of television cameras for generating image signals. The cameras may be placed at different respective locations, and at least a single television monitor-receiver is provided for selectively receiving and monitoring one of the image signals. The monitor-receiver includes a circuit for generating common line and field synchronizing signals for the cameras, and an activation-signal generating circuit for supplying activation signals for the cameras, respectively. The activation and synchronizing signals are transmitted to the cameras, respectively, by cable or radio-frequency.
