AbstractA tire with a radial carcass and a top belt under the tread, has sidewalls which are reinforced by layers of a rubbery mixture exhibiting a high modulus of elasticity and extending over the entire height of the sidewalls. The upper edges of these reinforcement layers are inserted between the carcass and the lateral edges of the belt.
