The sleeve is secured to the body at the side where a working fluid is admitted into the sleeve. The sleeve is arranged so that there is a passage between its external surface and the internal surface of the body. The side surface of the sleeve is provided with ports for communicating the sleeve with the passage for the working fluid.Each port is closed by a flexible plate cantilevered to the external surface of the sleeve. The flexible plate has a variable width decreasing towards the point of its fastening to the sleeve so that the ratio of the port-closing portion of the plate to the width of its remaining flexible portion is 8:1.1. | |
