The method comprises excavating a trench in the desired location. At least one trench side wall is scraped or carved during excavation so that predetermined impressions are formed in the side wall. Cementitious material is poured in the trench and the side wall impressions are transferred to the concrete resulting in a rock-like appearance wall when the adjacent soil is removed. An apparatus adapted for attachment to a conventional trencher is also disclosed which carves or cuts the forming impressions during excavation of the trench. | |
